According to New York Times of 15th December 2009, more than half of the American’s unemployed workers have borrowed money from friends or relatives since losing their jobs. The report continued by emphasizing that such equal number have cut back on doctor visits or medical treatments because they are out of work which indicates they can not afford it.
These scenario is not unique to Americans alone, the storm of economic woes has caused more damage than can be quantified in monetary terms globally, hence, the best solution is to prepare and stop the anxiety or panic attacks from the root and place the defense gadgets in proper places as precautionary and therapeutic measures.
The report continued to accentuate that “joblessness has wreaked financial and emotional havoc on the lives of many of those out of work, according to a New York Times/CBS News poll of unemployed adults, causing major life changes, mental health issues and trouble maintaining even basic necessities”, this fact can not be ignored as it is a major problem.
The noble call for action on this devastating situation can not be undervalued. This major cause and the effect is having major extensions to the family members of the affected people in multiple folds and the children and family welfare becomes the end receiver of the outcome.
As reported, roughly half of the respondents described the recession as a hardship that had caused fundamental changes in their lives. Generally, those who have been out of work longer reported experiencing more acute financial and emotional effects.
